The Company

TKC was formed by restructuring and diversifying Mr. Kolb's prior companies, Bona and Kolb Building Co., Inc., and Bona and Kolb Architects and Designers, Inc. Mr. Kolb co-founded and co-owned both firms. He also served as Vice President of Construction Operations for TJMT, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

As Vice President of Bona and Kolb Architects and Designers, Inc. and the former Bona and Kolb Building Co., Inc., Mr. Kolb was part of the SAVI and RFID Global Solutions, Inc. teams and spearheaded the successful implementation of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Tracking System for Green Ramp at the Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) and Heavy Drop Rigging Facility (HDRF) at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and Pope AFB, North Carolina in March of 2006-2008. Mr. Kolb and his firms provided all required DPW architectural and engineering submittals and construction management of the installation of the RFID Tracking System's power and communication systems. Mr. Kolb also refined RFID equipment concealment. The development and integration of his designs and fabrication allow this equipment the protection and dependability required for the most arduous climates and locations. He further qualified his position with TJMT, LLC by designing and directing the Henna Creek Trail Bridge installation within the Huron-Manistee National Forest for the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service.

As a business owner of 32 years, Mr. Kolb has demonstrated considerable skill in implementing his design capabilities through projects varying in scale, scope, and budget. His architectural and design practices have completed hundreds of residential and light commercial commissions. Mr. Kolb's budgetary awareness, engaging designs, and attention to detail throughout all phases of his projects have maintained a practice based on client referrals.

Mr. Kolb has integrated the professional characteristics and philosophy of his previous design and construction firms into his current business. Mr. Kolb provides his clients with talented and controlled subcontractors and trades, partners with registered Architects and Structural/Civil Engineers, and collaborates with multiple specialized disciplines. This has placed his firm at the forefront of consideration for a wide range of projects.

Mr. Kolb's firms have held membership and registrations with the United States Green Building Council, International Building Officials Code Council, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and Central Contractor Registry and employed LEED-accredited professionals.

Recently, Mr. Kolb completed an $8 million custom family campus in Grass Lake, MI. This project, under the direction of Mr. Kolb and his firm TKC, entailed land purchase negotiations, architectural and civil documentation, construction administration, and design and fabrication of the custom cabinetry and millwork. He has also designed four Marijuana provisioning centers in Ann Arbor, MI, in which he controlled all design work and field oversight of his designed installations. These projects, the first in Ann Arbor, required a keen knowledge of Michigan's new regulatory laws. These projects included custom cabinetry design, safety and security implementation, site planning integrating a secure drive-up collection of orders, and exterior renovations.

Mr. Kolb most recently provided the lead design and integrated construction services of a $16 million single-family home in Ann Arbor, MI., along with multiple designs of custom single-family homes ranging from $600,000 - $3,800,000. Mr. Kolb has designed over 1,400 single-family homes in Michigan and some abroad.

Mr. Kolb's considerable experience within the construction and design industries further enhances The Kolb Company, LLC's goal of providing clients with turnkey project solutions and, through this versatility, a foundation for new opportunities and partnerships.

Mr. Kolb, 56, currently resides at a home he designed and built on Portage Lake, MI, with his wife of 32 years. He has three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys hunting, golf, fishing, boating, and traveling.
